That kia purchased the rights to the Lotus Elan once production stopped. The only difference is badging. Now I want a Kia.

The engine was also switched from the Isuzu 4XE1 in the Lotus to the Kia T8D in the Kia.

Don’t get too excited. Still wrong-wheel-drive. It may be the best Kia, but it’s the worst Lotus.
